Dr. Carson III graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 and has been proudly practicing in Lafayette since 1981. With a lifelong passion for the pets and people of the community, Dr. Carson has built lasting relationships and a reputation for compassionate, dedicated care.
Veterinary medicine runs in the family—his wife Karen’s father, Dr. David Elston, was also a respected veterinarian who practiced in Lafayette for many years. Dr. Carson is honored to continue that legacy of service and care in the same community.
He is a proud father of three sons and a grandfather to four—and counting! When he’s not caring for animals, Dr. Carson enjoys spending his spare time working on his farm, tending to his cows, and embracing the rural lifestyle.
