Kennel Technician Carson Vet

Celeste Darby

Kennel Technician

I have had the great pleasure of being with Carson Vet Clinic since April of 2007.  I enjoy spending time with the patients that board with us, creating a special bond with them is very important to me.  I also volunteer with Acadiana Animal Aid and the Wildcat Foundation. When I’m not working I enjoy watching movies, reading, and spending quality time with my family. I have 2 over-spoiled cats named Sampson and Sammy.

I was originally born in Terra Haute, Indiana. I live in a household full of animals, 8 dogs, 4 cats, a beta fish, a guinea pig, and some ring neck doves to be exact. Out of that crew, 2 dogs and 2 cats along with the beta fish and guinea pig are mine. Samson is a 3 years old pointer mix and Mosby is a 1 year old Chihuahua. Sage and Charlee are my 2 cats. D, is my beta fish and Otis is my guinea pig. My mom has been a part of the veterinary field my whole life, and to say the least it has become a part of mine.

I have lived in Lafayette for a little over 6 years. I am originally from Dallas, TX. I’ve had a passion for animals since I was a baby. I am borderline obsessed with dogs! I have a 4 year old dachshund named Bentley and a 9 month old lab named Mabel. Oh, and a snake! I have a love for all kinds of creatures! I have been working for Dr. Carson since May of 2013 and absolutely love it and I love our clients! ♥
